The Holy Spirit will influence you to be united with the rest of the body of Christ. Unity in the church is actually called “unity of the Holy Spirit”. Unity is brought about by a direct influence of the Holy Spirit.  
 
The world we live in is opposed to unity. Hurts and offences that are in the world constantly work to divide us and break vital relationships. It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit that we can continue to stay together. The Holy Spirit does not inspire isolation and living lonely lives. The Holy Spirit inspires you to be with the others and to stay within the fellowship.
