Topic: You must redeem the time because your days will be few and full of trouble.

My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: "LORD, make me to know my end and what is the extent of my days; Let me know how transient I am. Behold, You have made my days as handbreadths, And my lifetime as nothing in Your sight; Surely every man at his best is a mere breath. Selah.
Surely every man walks about as a phantom; Surely they make an uproar for nothing; He amasses riches and does not know who will gather them.
Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; for I am a stranger with You, A sojourner like all my fathers. "Turn Your gaze away from me, that I may smile again before I depart and am no more.

"Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble."

Even if you want to serve the Lord, you are living in a real world which is full of many diverse troubles. These troubles will serve as perfect distractions as long as you live. The troubles of this world will also serve as perfect deceptions to you. These deceptions have already captured the heart of millions. Because of the multitude of life’s problems, few people ever think of eternity and the reality of Hell and Heaven even though it lies just a step away from us all.

Indeed, a clever trick has been played on the human race. Millions are sliding into eternity unaware of the great dangers just ahead. The rich and the poor alike will go to Hell because they do not know Jesus Christ. How surprised many poor people must be, when they discover that their problems will only intensify because they descend into Hell. Can you imagine the shock of the poverty/sickness-ridden masses who die only to descend into the abyss where there is even more weeping and gnashing of teeth?

But can you imagine the even greater shock that greets the millionaires, the big-shots, the politicians and the multitudes who live good lives on this earth, when they die and descend instantly into the darkness of the abyss?
Can you imagine their fright when they hear the sound of the wailing and screaming masses who are engulfed by the surging waves and gigantic sulphur flames of the lake of fire?

What a dangerous life it is to live at the edge of such an abyss, never even blinking an eye when a warning about eternal damnation is sounded! One millionaire said to me, “I’ll take my chances. I believe there is no heaven and there is no Hell.” Another rich man said, “There is nothing like hell and there is nothing like the devil. I will name my child Lucifer to prove to you that I do not believe that there is an iota of truth about Heaven, Hell or the devil.”

It is amazing that the world makes a film and calls it “Cliff Hanger!” Indeed, it is so frightening to see people hanging off dangerous cliffs with their very lives in the balance. There is no need for any cliff hanging film! The whole world is hanging on a cliff anyway! Just look around you and you will see the souls falling off the cliffs of life everyday. You will see many others who could not care less that they are about to fall off the same cliff in the same way their friends just did.
