THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING - PART 2
Scripture: Colossians 3:15
Topic: Be thankful as an attitude of your life.
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."
Colossians 3:15
There are people who have learned to say “Thank you” because it is part of their culture. In certain cultures, children are taught to say “Thank you” as soon as a hand is stretched out to give them something. They say “Thank you” before they even know what they have received. Saying, “Thank you” is an automatic thing for many well-mannered people.
There are unthankful and ungrateful people who have learnt how to say “thank you” but are not thankful. Being thankful is a spiritual state. It is a state of constant gratefulness. It is a state of singing, praising and thanking God. It is a state of great appreciation. It is important to appreciate all the good things that God has done for us.
Remember that it is possible to say, “Thank you” without being thankful.
