BECOME SELF-MOTIVATED. DO NOT EXPECT DIRECTION OR ENCOURAGEMENT FROM OUTSIDE

BECOME SELF- MOTIVATED. DO NOT EXPECT DIRECTION OR ENCOURAGEMENT FROM OUTSIDE.

Scripture: Mark 11:23
Topic: Seven steps to encouraging yourself.

In this series we will be looking at how you need to become self- motivated and not to expect direction or encouragement from outside which is an art of leadership. Everyone looks up to a leader for encouragement, but who encourages a leader? A true leader is someone who knows how to encourage himself whenever it is necessary. A true leader does not look to the outside for motivation, does not depend on external factors to encourage himself/herself but motivates himself /herself.

Lets take a look at the seven steps to encouraging yourself.
4. Make positive confessions.
Your faith must speak when you need encouragement. Faith is the opposite of depression. Faith is a shield.  That's why the Bible calls faith a shield that quenches the fiery darts.

For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mark 11:23

Your faith is a God-given weapon meant to stop attacks!
