Topic: Seven steps to encouraging yourself.

In this series we will be looking at how you need to become self- motivated and not to expect direction or encouragement from outside which is an art of leadership. Everyone looks up to a leader for encouragement, but who encourages a leader? A true leader is someone who knows how to encourage himself whenever it is necessary. A true leader does not look to the outside for motivation, does not depend on external factors to encourage himself/herself but motivates himself /herself. 

Lets take a look at the seven steps to encouraging yourself.
2. Receive living messages from God by the simple reading of scriptures. 
When the Bible becomes a living message from God to you, you will always have source of direction and encouragement. When you are in need of encouragement or direction and you read scripture, God will deliver the message to you. This makes the Bible your greatest tool of self encouragement and motivation.

The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hand shall be stronger and stronger.

Job 17:9

Learn to encourage yourself with scriptures that you read to yourself in your quiet moments!
