Scripture: Hosea 12:13
Topic: Twelve curses that you can be delivered from through a prophet.

In this series we shall be looking at the ministry of a prophet and how an amazing agency it is through which you can be delivered from many curses. Israel was locked up in Egypt, suffering under the curse of slavery. God's power appeared to them through the ministry of the prophet, Moses. Through the ministry of the prophet, the political power of Egypt was unraveled. 

And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

Hosea 12:13

Lets take a look at the twelve curses you can be delivered from through a prophet.
6. By a prophet you are delivered from the curse of sickness and incurable diseases. 
It was through the ministry of a prophet that healing came to Naaman the Syrian. There was no way that Naaman would have been healed from leprosy without the intervention of the prophet.

Now Naaman, captain of the host of of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him saying, go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shall be clean. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, behold I thought, he will surely come out to me and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. Are not Abana and Pharphar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? May I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.
And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My  father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it?  How much rather then, when he said to thee, WASH, and be clean?
Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

2 Kings 5:1,9-14

Through the ministry of a prophet you will experience the miracle of healing, the curse of sickness and disease will be broken over your life!
