 HOW YOU CAN BE DELIVERED FROM A CURSE THROUGH A PROPHET 

Scripture: Hosea 12:13
Topic: Twelve curses that you can be delivered from through a prophet.

In this series we shall be looking at the ministry of a prophet and how an amazing agency it is through which you can be delivered from many curses. Israel was locked up in Egypt, suffering under the curse of slavery. God's power appeared to them through the ministry of the prophet, Moses. Through the ministry of the prophet, the political power of Egypt was unraveled. 

And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

Hosea 12:13

Lets take a look at the twelve curses you can be delivered from through a prophet.
5. By a prophet you are delivered from the curse of sudden death, demonic surprises, poisoning, wicked traps and snares of the devil. 
It was through the ministry of a prophet that the curse of death in the pot was overcome. The sons of the prophets had already eaten poisonous food. The curse of death was about to envelope the entire family of prophets. This curse was averted because of the ministry of the prophet, Elisha

And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a death in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.
So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, THERE IS DEATH IN THE POT. And they could not eat thereof.
But he said, then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, pour out for the people, that they may eat. And THERE WAS NO HARM IN THE POT.

2 Kings  4:38-41

Whatever curse and whatever surprise satan has for you is foiled today by the ministry of the prophet!
