Scripture: 1 Peter 1:18-19
Topic: The Supernatural Abilities of the Blood.

In this series of quiet time we will continue to look at the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has supernatural power. 

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not REDEEMED with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

1Peter 1:18-19

4. The blood of Jesus has supernatural power to bring you back from the dead.

Now the God of peace, that BROUGHT AGAIN FROM THE DEAD our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, THROUGH THE BLOOD of the everlasting covenant,

Hebrews 13:20

The scripture teaches us that the blood of Jesus is the power that raised Jesus from the dead. The blood of Jesus has the power to raise the dead. It is the only power that could raise Jesus Christ out of the grave. It is by this same power of the blood that you will be raised from the dead. You will die, but you will not remain dead because of the power of the blood of Jesus.

Blood has the power to bring back people from the dead. Even natural blood does that. That is why there are blood banks. These banks store blood so that the blood can be accessed quickly in emergencies to bring people back to life. Life is in the blood. The blood of Jesus will prevent eternal death and bring you back from the dead!
