Scripture: 1 Peter 1:18-19
Topic: The Supernatural Abilities of the Blood.

In this series of quiet time we will continue to look at the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has supernatural power. 

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not REDEEMED with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

1Peter 1:18-19

3. The blood of Jesus has supernatural power to prevent death.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls:

Leviticus 17:11

The blood of Jesus has within it a supernatural ability to prevent death. The blood of Jesus has within it a supernatural ability to prevent you from going to hell. The life is in the blood and therefore the absence of life-giving blood causes death. 

Medical science has discovered that any part  of the human body that is deprived of blood dies. Sections of the world are condemned to death when the Blood of Jesus is stopped from flowing there. Entire regions of the world are condemned to death and hell because no evangelist was able to go there. Life will come to the regions which receive the blood of Jesus. We need to make the Blood of Jesus available for the souls of this world. We need to preach so that the Blood of Jesus and the sacrifice of the cross will not be wasted. What life will come to those who know about the blood of Jesus. What a great deliverance the multitudes will have when they know about the blood of Jesus Christ!
