Scripture: Hebrews 10:17-21
Topic: How the Blood gives you access to God.

In this series of quiet time we have been looking at the supernatural abilities of the blood of Jesus. in this last part of the second series we will conclude on how the blood of Jesus gives you access to God. 

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to ENTER INTO THE HOLIEST BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God.

Hebrews 10:17-21

6. Through the blood of Jesus, we have a covenant with God.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or  three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the son of God, and hath counted the BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews  10:28-29


Now the Gd of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through THE BLOOD OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT.

Hebrews  13:20

The blood of Jesus is called the blood of the covenant. This is because we are now able to actually have a covenant with God. A real agreement and covenant between a wretched sinner and Almighty God. This is a special advantage that you and I now have. There is now a divine contract and a solemn agreement that binds you forever to God and to heaven. 

This wonderful privilege of having a covenant with God had angered Lucifer so much. We must value the privilege God has given to us that we might come so close to Him and have such access to Him.
