THE LIMITATIONS OF AN INDIVIDUAL'S CALL -PART 2
THE LIMITATIONS OF AN INDIVIDUAL'S CALL -PART 2
Scripture: Colossians 2:9
Topic: Only Christ has the fullness of the call.
If you want to see the fullness of the call, you must look at Christ since only Christ has the ultimate calling. This is a very important truth for us to grasp.
For IN HIM DWELLETH ALL THE FULNESS of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:9
You must make Christ your best example of a shepherd, a teacher, an evangelist and a prophet. Constantly looking at Christ will cause you to move much higher than you would have been. Unfortunately, many of us look at men we esteem as mentors and assume they are the best example of ministry. Even the most anointed men of God are only a measure of what they could be. Every one of us is only a fraction of what we could be if we had the full measure of the gift. It is Christ who had the Spirit without measure and therefore it is the fullest and best example of ministry.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, UNTO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST.
Ephesians 4:13
The ultimate pastor is the good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. The ultimate teacher is Jesus Christ. The ultimate evangelist was the Lord who came to save the lost. The ultimate prophet was Jesus, the prophet, whose words have never failed. The ultimate apostle was Jesus who was sent by God as the Saviour of the world.
