PRINCIPLE 7: AFTER YOU ARE BORN AGAIN, YOUR MIND IS STILL OPEN TO ALL KINDS OF THOUGHTS, YOU MUST LEARN TO THINK ON THE RIGHT THINGS (PART 2)
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10: 25
“Casting down imaginations,
and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
2
Corinthians 10: 5
You must resist the devil in your life. When the Word of
God says you must resist the devil. It means that you must resist thoughts and
suggestions that come from the pit of Hell.
“Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things..”
Philippians
4: 8
Control
your thoughts
One of the best ways to control your thoughts is to listen
to preaching. Christian music and videos are good tools to help in controlling
your thoughts. Do not give place to the devil! You give place to the devil when
you allow evil thoughts to settle in your mind. They will oppress and obsess
you until you become possessed.
You must grow in your understanding of salvation through these
seven great principles. In all your getting get understanding. Wisdom is the principal
thing.
“Wisdom
is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get
understanding.”
Proverbs
4: 7
