STRANGE HAPPENINGS IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD 
Scripture: 2 Samuel 6:10-12
Topic : Strange Happenings in the Presence of God - Part 3

Wherever the presence of God is, there are manifestations. In this Series of our Quiet Time  will explore some of the strange happenings in the Presence of God. 

3. Prosperity to all the lovers of God’s presence. 

"So David would not remove the ark of the Lord unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. And THE ARK OF THE LORD CONTINUED IN THE HOUSE OF OBEDEDOM THE GITTITE THREE MONTHS: AND THE LORD BLESSED OBEDEDOM, AND ALL HIS HOUSEHOLD. And it was told king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness."
2 Samuel 6:10-12

Prosperity came to Obededom’s household because the ark of God was there.  The presence of God enveloped the household of Obededom. Instead of death, there was prosperity.  The presence of God can go far right or far left. 

Things will work out just because the presence of God is there. Money will be given to you just because of the presence of God.  Many people work very hard but never really prosper.  Why is this?  The ground has been cursed to yield thorns and thistles.  Man’s life is cursed to yield a little bread with much sweat. Satan is overseeing these curses and ensuring that poverty and financial difficulty are the order of the day.   

The presence of God is the power of God that overshadows your household and suspends the curse. Through the presence of God, the curse is suspended and prosperity and abundance are released.  Few people in this world have much to show for all their hard work. Most of us just have sweat to show for our years of living on this earth. We have eaten bread, we have had something to drink and we have sweated a lot. This is man without the presence of God. 

When Obededom experienced the presence of God, the curse was broken and his story was changed. This is what will happen to you when the presence of God is manifested in your life.
