LABOUR FOR THE BLESSING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT 
Scripture: Romans 8:14
Topic : Labour for the Blessing of the Holy Spirit -Part 2

The Holy Spirit will give you the greatest help you will ever receive. In this series of our Quiet Time we will study the reasons why we should labour for the blessing of the Holy Spirit in our lives. 

1. Labour for the Holy Spirit because He will make you into a supernatural being.  

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
Romans 8:14

Labour not to be rich! Labour for the Holy Spirit!  When you have the Holy Spirit, He will lead you.  When He leads you, you will be like a son of God. Sons of God are like angels. Sons of God are supernatural beings.  

In the book of Job we see the sons of God presenting themselves to the Lord.  

"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them."
Job 1:6

When you become one of the sons of God, you become supernatural in everything you do. You are successful when others are not. You live when others die. You flourish when others are poor. That is what it means to be a son of God. Indeed, the Holy Spirit is the greatest gift given to human beings. It is the Holy Spirit who lifts us out of our frail, human, failure-ridden state. The Holy Spirit makes us rise above the weak and dishonourable flesh. This is how a sinful man can be a prophet or a servant of God. 

Only the presence of the Holy Spirit can change everything about us. Supernatural wealth will come to the supernatural sons of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. When you are a son of God, you will be led by the Spirit to the hidden riches of secret places. Through the power of God, you will experience all the wealth you cannot get for yourself by labouring to be rich.
