Scripture: Exodus 23:25-26
Topic: It is a great thing to serve the Lord
(part 4)
In this series of our Quiet Time, we study the
reasons why serving God is a great thing. God has special privileges for those
who are enlisted in His work and do His bidding on earth. As we go out and win
souls, these privileges are due to us in Jesus name.
“And ye shall serve
the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I
will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their
young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.”
Exodus 23:25-26
1.
It is a great thing to serve the Lord because
we will serve and He shall bless
God gives diverse blessings to those who serve
Him. The blessing on your bread and water results in sickness being taken away from
you. God heals those who serve Him. God blesses them with healing. Expect to be
healed because you are His servant. Your healing is an important blessing for
serving the Lord. The contract is clear; you shall serve and He shall bless!
Serving God is a blessing for you. “You shall
serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless.” I want you to remember this
phrase:
And YE SHALL SERVE the Lord your God, and HE
SHALL BLESS…!
And YE SHALL SERVE the Lord your God, and HE
SHALL BLESS…!
And YE SHALL SERVE the Lord your God, and HE
SHALL BLESS…!
And YE SHALL SERVE the Lord your God, and HE
SHALL BLESS…!
And YE SHALL SERVE the Lord your God, and HE
SHALL BLESS…!
To be called to serve God is to be called for a
blessing. Stop thinking about what you can do for God. There is nothing that
you can do for God. Lift up your eyes and see the blessings that await those who
serve the living God. God actually likes it when people expect blessings
because they serve Him.
