Experience the Continuous Presence of God - Part 2
In this series of quiet time we will study how to experience the presence of God continuously. Beloved, experiencing the continuous presence of God can be your reality.
Noah and the Continuous Presence
"These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and NOAH WALKED WITH GOD. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. AND GOD SAID UNTO NOAH, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. MAKE THEE AN ARK OF GOPHER WOOD; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch "
Genesis 6:9-14
Noah walked in the continuous presence of God. As Noah walked in the continuous presence of God, God chose him for a momentous and historic job. God gave him the privilege of becoming the second founder of the human race after God wiped out the entire human race. As the human race deteriorated, God decided to wipe out all the descendants of Adam and restart the human race. He could find only one person good enough for this awesome responsibility. It was someone who had walked closely and continuously with Him.
Today, if you walk in the presence of God, God will choose you to do great things. Perhaps you are jealous about how God is using certain people but not using you. You may think He is using them because they are Americans or Koreans. But it may be none of the reasons that you think. Continually walking in the presence of God gives such favour and causes amazing things to happen. Both Enoch and Noah experienced the unimaginable because they dwelt continually in God's presence.
Could it be that some of us experience the presence of God so infrequently that we are missing out on God’s best for us? How many minutes every week do you experience the presence of God?
