Seeds Part 5
SEEDS
Scripture: Ephesians 6:8
Topic: Seeds Part 5
In this series of our quiet time, we shall examine the impact of seeds. Sowing seeds is a biblical principle no matter what is said against it. Everything in the world exists based on this same principle.
5. Good deeds are seeds that can be sown. Every good thing you do to somebody will come back as a harvest of good things for you
“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”
Ephesians 6:8
The key in this Scripture is to not expect the harvest from a human being but from the Lord. Human beings who receive your seeds will not usually have the ability to pay you back.
Whatever you sow as a good deed or kindness will become a blessing to you one day. If you counsel someone’s child and care for him as your own, you can expect to receive a harvest of good counsel, care and love from the Lord. If you look after someone’s children you can expect your children to be looked after.

He that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

Expect the harvest to come from the Lord not a fellow man.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I heard someone say,"Do good and go".It's actually a seed you've planted, and you can't stand there and wait for you to harvest immediately.
ReplyDeleteDoing good is planting seeds
God is the rewarder not man. Do good to everyone not only those who can repay you. Every good deed I do to the least in the kingdom, I do unto him Matthew 25:40
ReplyDeleteWhatever good you give out will come back to you and even affect your future generations because it's a seed you are sowing unto the Lord
