WHO WILL TELL THEM?

WHO WILL TELL THEM?
Scripture: Mark 16:15
Topic: Who Will Tell Them?

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
                                                                                                                                        Mark 16:15 - NASB

Here’s the story, titled “Whose Job Is It, Anyway?”
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.

The above story is fast resembling the story of the church when it comes to the winning of souls. There is a church that thinks another church is doing the winning of souls. Everybody in the church is assuming somebody is the one doing soul winning. Meanwhile Nobody is winning souls. Eventually the result of this evil assumption is nobody is doing what we have been commanded to do. The command is to “Go” why must you assume someone else will “Go”?

The church must enter a “sending mode”! believers must be in “sending mode”! Sending must become the preoccupation of the church. Nothing should matter more than sending. We must send those that will not scatter the sheep! We must send those that will labour cheerfully for the harvest of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “H ow beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things !”

                                                                                                                              Romans 10:14-15 - NASB

Beloved, do not ask who will go. Go!
