FAITH CAUSES GOD'S HAND TO PERFORM WONDERS

FAITH CAUSES GOD'S HAND TO PERFORM WONDERS Scripture: Luke 1:45 Topic: Faith Causes God's Hand To Perform Wonders " And blessed is she that believed; for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord." Luke 1:45 Blessed is she that believes! There will be a performance. There is always a performance  for those who believe. There is no performance for those who do not believe. Faith will force God's hand to perform. Faith will compel God to act. faith will cause God's commitment to your cause. Faith will invoke the power and presence in your affairs. Faith will make God perform wonders for you. Faith is the key that will change your relationship with God. Keep developing your faith. Faith will make God perform wonders in your life. Faith is the secret of Mary and Elizabeth. They believed in the prophecy. Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of God. the more you listen to preaching, the more your faith is built up...

STRANGENESS

STRANGENESS Scriptures: Proverbs 5:3-13 Topic: Strangeness “For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!”  Proverbs 5:3-13 Although the scripture above talks about  “The Strange Wom...

HOW YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR ANOINTING LEVELS

HOW YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR ANOINTING LEVELS Scripture: Acts 2:3-4 Topic: How You Can Change Your Anointing Levels     "And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:3-4 Peter, the apostle was transformed into a powerful preaching apostle who was able to lead thousands of people to great conviction and repentance.  You must remember that Jesus had breathed on Peter a few days earlier and he had already received the Holy Spirit.  “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost” (John 20:21-22) The change in anointing levels suddenly transformed Peter’s life.  There is a change in the anointing level that will transform you from a weakling into a bol...

NEVER FORGET ABOUT WAR IN TIMES OF PEACE

NEVER FORGET ABOUT WAR IN TIMES OF PEACE Scripture: 1Kings 20:22-26 Topic: Never Forget About War in Times of Peace "And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, GO, STRENGTHEN THYSELF, AND MARK, AND SEE WHAT THOU DOEST: FOR AT THE RETURN OF THE YEAR THE KING OF SYRIA WILL COME UP AGAINST THEE. And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, Their gods are gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. And do this thing, Take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put captains in their rooms: And number thee an army, like the army that thou hast lost, horse for horse, and chariot for chariot: and we will fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. And he hearkened unto their voice, and did so. AND IT CAME TO PASS AT THE RETURN OF THE YEAR, THAT BENHADAD NUMBERED THE SYRIANS, AND WENT UP TO APHEK, TO FIGHT AGAINST ISRAEL....

BITTERNESS

BITTERNESS Scripture: Hebrews 12:15 Topic: Bitterness “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;”  Hebrews 12:15 “Bitterness” can be defined as  “degenerated unforgiveness”. I define bitterness as a  “long-standing degenerated unforgiveness”.  The word “degenerate” is defined  as “to pass into a worse state than one which is considered normal  or desirable”. Thus, when a situation passes from one stage to a  worse state, it can be described as degeneration.  Unforgiveness  which stays in your heart for a long period of time, degenerates  into bitterness. The cardinal sign of bitterness is that it  begins to poison other people. The Bible cautions that when  bitterness is permitted, it will spill over and defile others. "...lest any root of bitterness  springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;" Hebrews 12:15 I k...

BACKBITING

BACKBITING Scripture: Psalm 15:1-3 Topic: Backbiting “Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.”  Psalm 15:1-3 “Backbiting” means to be “bitten in  the back.” That is, to slander someone in his absence.  Being bitten in the back is different  from being bitten in the front. This is because of the surprise  element and the absence of protection for one’s back parts.  The  Bible teaches us in Ephesians chapter 6 about the protective armour  of God. However, you will notice that there is no armour for the  back parts of the Christian. That is why backbiting is so  painful. Backbiting, one of  the poisons of  the tongue is very common in divided, strife-filled  churches.  Many peo...

THE SPIRIT OF FOOLISHNESS

THE SPIRIT OF FOOLISHNESS Scripture: Topic: The Spirit of Foolishness "He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.   Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee." Proverbs 9:7-8   Many of life’s  opportunities are discovered with good advice.  "Without counsel purposes (opportunities) are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established." Proverbs 15:22 "Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war." Proverbs 20:18 However, not everybody wants advice or can handle it. The cardinal sign of the spirit of foolishness is found in the response of the foolish person to wisdom: He gets angry when he is advised. A fool’s reaction to advice will give him away. In fact, the fool will hate you for giving him sound advice. This is the spirit of foolishness. ...

THE PRESCENCE OF GOD AND PROSPERITY

THE PRESENCE OF GOD AND PROSPERITY Scripture: Genesis 39:2 Topic: The Prescence of God and Prosperity "And THE LORD WAS WITH JOSEPH, AND HE WAS A PROSPEROUS MAN; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian." Genesis 39:2 The Bible is full of examples of people who enjoyed the presence of God and its attendant prosperity. God’s presence creates prosperity.  This is one of the reasons why we must stay close to God.   It makes sense to think that someone who is close to the king will have access to some of the wealth and riches that the king enjoys. This is why people are happy when their friend or acquaintance becomes the president of a country. The riches and power that their friend comes into, by virtue of his being the head of state, will surely affect them. Every king has friends and every king has people that secretly enjoy the wealth and prosperity of the throne.   Mordecai was such a person.  He came out of the king’s presence completely overloa...

ALLOS - THE KEY TO THE ANOINTING

ALLOS -THE KEY TO THE ANOINTING Scripture: John 14:16 Topic: Allos- The Key To The Anointing "And I will pray the Father,  and he shall give you another (ALLOS) Comforter, that he may abide  with you for ever;" John 14:16 In the Scripture above,  Jesus calls the Comforter, another of the same kind. The  word another in  this verse, is the Greek word allos . This means another comforter  of the same kind. Jesus could have used the word  heteros which would also  have been translated another. But heteros would have meant another help  of a different kind. The Holy Spirit (Comforter) is the  anointing. When Jesus promised another comforter of the same kind,  He was promising another anointing of the same kind. He was showing  that the same kind of anointing with which He had ministered would  be available to the apostles when He left.  Most pastors would hasten their  progress in the ministry if they would understa...
