DO NOT STOP DOING GOOD
Scripture: Galatians 6: 9
Topic: Do Not Stop Doing Good

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
                                                                                                                                                    Galatians 6:9

In a world full of ingratitude, it is possible to grow weary of doing good. In a world full of those who easily forget, it is very easy to soon detest doing good. Yet here we are being admonished by the apostle Paul to not grow weary of doing good. When after you have done good to people, they choose ingratitude as their response, if you are not careful you may easily become tired of ever doing good for those in your future. Remember, Beloved that they have chosen their seed(response), and you will also have to be careful to choose your reaction. 

There is a reason one must choose the doing of good. The reason is that it is what pleases God;

“ But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
                                                                                                                                                Hebrews 13:16

“To do good and to communicate”, these two Christian virtues we are encouraged to never forget. To communicate is not to pick your phone and call somebody or send them a text etc etc. To communicate is the biblical way of saying give! Therefore, to do good, and to give, aa Christian must not grow weary of these. The truth is that, these acts are seeds, seeds that will bring you a harvest in due season. Let me take this opportunity to draw your mind to what is called “due season”. Many Christians are ignorant of “due season”. “Due season” is appropriate season, it means the right moment, it refers to the appointed divine season chosen by God to showcase your harvest.

“Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.”

                                                                                                                                                     Psalms 37:3

Your patience is being tested, I know. People have shown you so much ingratitude, I know. But beloved, continue doing good. By that I am saying, continue sowing your seeds. The Lord shall cause you to dwell in the land, He shall cause you to be fed. Blessed are you when the Lord feeds you! Beloved, do not grow weary in the exercise of doing good! Press on!

    Ameeeen!!! What a word!!! Doing good is a seed i am planting and I should not get tired of doing it. Lord grant me the grace to do and continue doing good.

    Amen. Blessed is I when the Lord feeds me. May people's ingratitude and forgetfullness not hinder my heart from doing good and sowing good seeds, so I may enjoy my harvest in due season.
